Tithing Your Thoughts

Giving ten percent of what we earn constitutes a tithe.

We choose to give it to the highest purpose we can find.

Our thoughts constitute the greatest quantity of what we receive and what we give.

Millions of thoughts each day.

What kinds of thoughts are we receiving?

The barrage of media messages.

Memories from the past.

Reactions to our surroundings.

When we take ten percent of our thoughts, which ones do we choose to give to the highest purpose that we can find?

What kinds of thoughts are we giving?

Thoughts of peace?

Thoughts which uplift others?

Solutions to problems around us?

One minute out of ten of our thoughts constitutes a thought-tithe.

To what purpose will give our thought-tithes?

Feeding Yourself

Feed yourself what you need to hear.

Tell yourself you are worthy.

Tell yourself you have a contribution to make and make it.

It is not supposed to be like anyone else’s.

You are here to make that contribution.

What other people think or do is none of your business.

And what you think and do is none of theirs.

Your life has brought you to this point.

Your decisions, the ones you have made and the ones that have been made for you, have brought you here.

You can make all the rest of them, you know.

You can decide and develop the resources to act, and act, and arrive where you choose this time.

I am doing that now.

I am feeding myself much better.
