The Counter to Ridiculous Noise

I have been thinking today of the highest expressions of man.

Love, creativity, unselfishness, art, wholeness, beauty, care.

All the blatant representation through the media of unwholesome self-interest cannot wipe out this deep nature of who we really are.

The is always room for this higher expression.

We are all drawn toward it.

Listening deeply and gently, we always hear it.

So, watch what the noise brings out.

Then counter it with comfort of the deepest and highest nature.

Let blatant and yelling ferocity scream and dance.

Then find serenity and calm and peace and creativity.

And compare and contrast.

Draw to you what gives you the kindest nature.

And look at all others with kindness and gentleness and generosity.

Let all you do and all you support bring this out.

Kindness and gentleness and generosity.

That will be enough to conquer ridiculous noise.
