Appreciation

I have just returned from an art exhibit sponsored by the Dallas Museum of Art of fifty “Young Masters”, high school students from around Dallas, TX.

The creativity, imagination, and technique of these students is so exciting.

I love seeing the amazing variety of media, painting, drawing, collage, mixed media.

And the artists statements.  These students are very aware of what they are doing and why.  They conveyed deep emotion and passion and awareness.

I am so grateful for the opportunity provided by the sponsors.  Being recognized is so valuable.

Artists are taking such deep risks to expose themselves through their art.  These artists are very aware of the issues around them and how they fit into the world.

Their art makes compelling statements about identity.

Here is a photo of my husband, who teaches engineering graphics, with the student who invited him to see her work as an artist.

It was a moving evening to be surrounded by so much passionate and glorious expression.

Feeding the Engine of Creativity

I feed the engine of creativity with qualities.

I have been studying the ideas of infinity, substance, harmony, presence all my life.

With these and other qualities in uppermost my thought, creative ideas naturally flow.

I have turned within through this process for so long, it is just as much a part of me as any other habit.

Cultivating the qualities you wish to express in your creative endeavor will draw the projects you most value to you.

I suggest working with an old-fashioned printed dictionary.

I suggest writing out definitions by hand or at least typing them.

The way the words feed into your consciousness makes a deep impression.

My goal is to feel the essence of each quality I wish to express.

Then, when an idea comes together, it has all of those qualities in it.

Whatever I am conscious of shows up in my work.

Peace and Beauty

Peace and beauty are a choice I can make for myself.

I do not have to listen to the clutter in the media or the opinions that are influenced by it or by any other event.

I can choose my own peace and beauty right now, wherever I am.

This lets me acquire the feelings I have when I am in Nature or in a garden or in a park.

This lets me experience my own direction and my own approach in relationships.

Because I am choosing peace and beauty, they can take a different path.

My career offerings, too, are peace and beauty.

The way I execute a project makes it bursting at the seams with peace and beauty.

It’s energy has a powerful attraction.

I feel a deeper energy, a connection to the earth itself.

This is no superficial life I am living.

It has essential truth to it now, the truth of peace and beauty.

Self-Perception

I have reached out to have better vision in many ways, to express accuracy, discernment, to see correctly, to have better understanding.

Over the years, as I have done this, I have learned to receive wonderful ideas in a constant flow.

As my vision improves, my business has flourished.

I realized though, that my self-perception needs to keep up with my “vision”.

Accepting old habits of perception does not keep pace with other aspects of my vision which are improving so much.

Deep negative imprinting has many hidden features and now that so much light has been brought to bear on it, I am able to replace more and more with good habits and new attitudes.

It is right to have good services.

It is right to be treated in an excellent and appreciative way.

It is right to have abundance.

The Universe is pouring out unlimited ideas which I am privileged to receive and to share.

I can also receive excellence from the people whose services I need.

In the Flow

When you are in the flow, you are in a mode of receptivity.

Ideas flow to you from the Universe within for you to download and express.

These are yours, from your unlimited identity, your signature within the millions and billions of the Universe.

Since the ideas have your signature, they come to you and are identified with you.

Those who can benefit from them are waiting for them and they will find you.

Your unique signature attracts them.

They know its shape, its dimension, its emotion and they want its blessing.

You are drawn to create for them, for those who can benefit from your ideas.

There is a partnership, a universal cooperative environment.

You receive from the Universe, then give, and then receive.

Your beneficiaries listen to know where you are, find you, and bless you with their presence.

This is the life model, the business model, of the Universe.

A Natural Attraction

It will come.  It is a natural attraction.

Listening my way to a new self-concept.

I have taken the steps.

I now embrace a new practice of self-appreciation, with no dissonant notes.

Persistent, gentle accomplishment.

Unfailing devotion and its assured reward.

From the very beginning, a success in service.

All the resources lined up to come at the right time.

An abiding trust for help received.

No uncertainty, instead realization, manifestation.

This is what is available to me in my new life.
