Living an Immoral Life

When we are not being true to ourselves, we are living an immoral life.

We have been trained to go in other directions than our heart and soul take us.

We have been given reasons, good reasons.

We have been educated from very early on to go in prescribed directions.

And when we do, we are told we are good.

We are told we are acceptable.

We are even told we are successful.

But the heart and soul still live within us and they pull at us either until we listen, or die.

We live with the discomfort, the distance between our true direction and one we are living.

Until one day, the discomfort becomes more than we can bear.

Then we take the first step.

We look.

We don’t move there yet, but we look.

We consider.

And then, maybe, we take a tiny, tiny step.

The happiness we feel being in alignment, heart, soul and action, even a tiny action, is indescribable.

And so we begin.

We take one step to live in harmony, accord, with our purpose all in one direction.

And when we do, we are true.
